About
The Domaine du Roc stands in the heart of the village of Le Roc-Saint-André, in Val d’Oust, along the Nantes-Brest canal, between Malestroit and Josselin. It is an unusual campsite: treehouses among the squirrels, vintage caravans, lodge tents, a fairy-tale cabin, Baricanes and Campétoiles, as well as mobile homes and pitches. The heated indoor pool is free. La Paillote bar is open all season, and its restaurant in July, August and at weekends in May and June. A water sports centre, bike hire, an orienteering course and fishing fill the days. The campsite has 66 pitches, including unserviced pitches of over 100 m². Vélodyssée cyclists arrive straight from the towpath; Malestroit is 8 km away, Josselin 16 km. In summer, there is a brazier evening every Monday at La Paillote, and on Saturdays in May and June. Bikes, pedal boats and canoes can be rented on site, and a library and games room are open to all. Nearby, you can visit the Château de Trécesson in Campénéac, about 22 minutes by car (23 km), and the Largoët fortress (Tours d’Elven), about 28 minutes by car (28 km).
