About

Les Grands Sables stands at Les Hauts-de-Grands-Sables in Locmaria, on Belle-Île-en-Mer, 300 metres from Les Grands Sables beach. The village of Locmaria is about 2 km away, and the campsite lies within a Natura 2000 site. This family campsite has made clear choices: no pool, to protect the peace and the environment, and no Wi-Fi. It rents out cabins, mobile homes and premium chalets for two to six people, and a premium pedestrian village has opened. Electric bike hire, a grocery, a snack bar, a restaurant on some evenings, a playground, pétanque, table tennis, board games and books to borrow are on site. More than 80 km of marked cycle routes start nearby. The recent chalets and mobile homes have covered terraces, and there is an offer for couples in the two-bedroom mobile homes. Belle-Île lies 15 km off the Quiberon peninsula. By the sea, Herlin beach on Belle-Île is about 11 minutes by car (7.1 km). Nearby, you can visit the Kerdonis lighthouse in Locmaria, about 4 minutes by car (1.7 km), and the Grand Phare de Goulphar in Bangor, about 18 minutes by car (13 km).
