About
The Quintin estate belongs to a family history running unbroken over several centuries. The ramparts and the Tour des Archives recall the fortified town, while two successive châteaux reflect the residential ambitions of the early modern period. The 17th-century château was left unfinished, while a later mansion completes the ensemble. This unusual juxtaposition makes the site very interesting for understanding how an aristocratic estate evolved without completely erasing its earlier states. The visit combines furnished rooms, collections, architecture and the park. The owning family takes part in passing the place on, which gives the tour a more domestic feel than a conventional museum. From 1 September to 25 October 2026, tours were offered every day at 2.30 pm, 3.30 pm and 4.30 pm, with longer hours during the All Saints holidays.
