The Festival du Bout du Monde has unveiled the poster for its 27th edition. The festival takes place on Friday 30 July, Saturday 31 July and Sunday 1 August 2027, on the Landaoudec meadow, between Crozon and Lanvéoc, in the heart of the Crozon peninsula. Three days of world music, on three stages, at the far end of Brittany.

A kraken on the poster

For 2027, the festival dives into the depths. Its poster, by Eor Glas Studio, shows a crowned kraken clutching a guitar in its tentacles, among the seaweed, under boat pennants. A way of saying that to find the Bout du Monde again, you may have to dive.

Founded in 2000, the festival celebrated its 26th edition in 2026. Every summer it sets up on the shores of the Rade de Brest, with music from all four corners of the world.

Getting there and staying on the peninsula

The festival is on rue de la Rade in Lanvéoc, near the Poteau roundabout, about 60 km from Brest and Quimper. Only one road leads to the peninsula: on the Friday, set off early. The car parks next to the site are free.

From Brest, the boat is a great option: in 2026, a crossing of about thirty minutes linked the commercial port to the port of Le Fret, with a free shuttle to the entrance. Check the 2027 timetable on the festival website.

The festival campsite, right next to the concerts, is free and needs no booking for ticket holders, from Friday morning to Monday noon, with showers, drinking water and a mini market. For more comfort, book accommodation on the peninsula early: late July is the peak season.

Where to stay near the festival

In the morning, before the concerts

The concerts start in the afternoon, so the mornings are free to explore the peninsula. The Pointe de Pen-Hir and its Tas de Pois rocks, Morgat beach and its sea caves, or the harbour of Camaret-sur-Mer are about twenty minutes from the site.
