About
Every Wednesday and Saturday, from 8 am to 1 pm, the big Saint-Brieuc market sets up in the town centre, on Place de la Résistance, Place du Martray and Place de la Grille. It brings together more than 80 stallholders on Wednesdays and more than 100 on Saturdays. There are food and non-food goods, a short walk from the cathedral of Saint-Étienne. Since 1 September 2025, the Saint-Brieuc markets have been “zero waste”: there are no bins on site, and each stallholder takes their waste away. After the market, you can visit the Musée d’Art et d’Histoire de Saint-Brieuc, about 1 km away, and the Pointe du Roselier in Plérin, about 15 minutes by car (8.8 km). By the sea, Rosaires beach, in Plérin, is about 13 minutes by car (7 km), and La Banche beach about 14 minutes by car (12 km).
