What to do in Saint-Brieuc during the All Saints’ holidays
Scallops, the bay and migrating birds, Cap d’Erquy, the Château de Quintin and the Zooparc: our ideas for All Saints’ 2026 in Saint-Brieuc.
7 min read
The 2026 All Saints’ holidays run from Saturday 17 October to Monday 2 November, for all three zones at once. Saint-Brieuc is in the middle of scallop season: fishing reopens every year in early October in its bay, one of the leading scallop beds in France.
All Saints’ 2026 events in Saint-Brieuc
Saint-Brieuc lives to the rhythm of scallops and spring tides; for outings, the Château de la Hunaudaye reopens its doors for the holidays and the national theatre opens its backstage to families.

The bay and its birds
The far end of the bay is a nature reserve, where tens of thousands of migrating birds stop over in autumn. The spring tides of 26 to 28 October uncovered kilometres of mudflats: watch them from the Pointe des Guettes in Hillion, with binoculars, without venturing onto the foreshore.
