About
Every Thursday morning, from 8 am to 1 pm, the big Dinan market sets up on Place Duguesclin and Place du Champ-Clos, in the heart of the medieval town. It is an institution, voted the most beautiful market in Brittany in 2024. Residents, producers and people from the surrounding towns meet around the fruit, vegetables and fresh produce of the region. Close by, the Dinan covered market, nicknamed “La Cohue” and renovated in 2009, is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 am to 7 pm. You reach it from Rue de la Ferronnerie, Rue de la Mittrie or Place du Petit-Pain. After the market, you can visit the Château de Dinan, about 100 m away, and the 39-45 museum in Dinan in Léhon, about 4 minutes by car (1.3 km).
