About
Riec-sur-Bélon has two markets a week, on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. The Saturday one is the biggest, with local producers. In summer, the Saturday market comes alive: horse-drawn carriage rides, sea shanties, calligraphy or faience painting workshops. The town is famous for Bélon oysters, farmed in the river of the same name, between Pont-Aven and Moëlan-sur-Mer. After the market, you can visit the Musée de Pont-Aven, about 7 minutes by car (4.9 km), and the Château de Kériolet in Concarneau, about 24 minutes by car (26 km). By the sea, Kerfany beach, in Moëlan-sur-Mer, is about 15 minutes by car (13 km).
