About
Le Guen is one of Erquy’s so-called wild beaches. Linked to the Lanruen area, it forms about a kilometre of sand lined by a natural coastline. The town presents it as a place for swimming and shore fishing, and also as a good area for mountain bikers thanks to the trails above it. Swimming here calls for more independence and care than on Erquy’s lifeguarded beaches. The bathing water quality is monitored. Animals are not allowed. Since 2024, metal detectors have been banned and all the town’s beaches are smoke-free.
