About

Kermabec is Tréguennec’s only beach and one of the great wild beaches of the bay of Audierne. It stretches for about three kilometres of fine sand, facing due west, between the beaches of Tronoën to the south and those of Tréogat and Plovan to the north. Behind the beach, the Ero Vili shingle bank, the dunes and the ponds of Saint-Vio and Trunvel form a remarkable natural area, closely monitored by the Conservatoire du littoral and popular with birdwatchers. The beach is very popular for board sports thanks to its exposure to wind and swell. Information on lifeguard cover varies: do not count on a lifeguard without checking locally.
