About
Kersidan is one of Trégunc’s big beaches and stands out for its sporty character. The tourist office describes it as a long beach of fine white sand, edged with crystal-clear water and offering a remarkable view of the Île de Raguénez. A water sports centre and a freeride spot attract windsurfers in particular. In summer, many sports activities are offered along this part of the Trégunc coast. The 2026 water monitoring ran from 15 June to 15 September; the beach has toilets but no shower, no drinking water and no permanent first-aid post, so check on site whether lifeguards are on duty. The beach is also an important area for the Kentish plover, a protected species that nests every year on Trégunc’s beaches. Visitors must respect the fenced areas and the top of the beach.
