About

Starting from Dourveil beach, in Névez, this trail leads to the thatched hamlet of Kercanic before following the coast, facing the Glénan archipelago. Kercanic, a village of thatched cottages full of flowers, is thought to date back to the 15th century and is very typical of traditional housing. On the coast, the eastern end of Raguénez beach has been nicknamed “Tahiti” for its white sand and turquoise water. From the Pointe de Raguénez, the view takes in the beach and the Glénan; at low tide, a 20 minute loop lets you walk around the island of Raguénez. The loop is 5.1 km long; allow about 1 h 30 of walking. Start: the Corniche des Glénan, Dourveil beach, in Névez. The official route, published by Concarneau Cornouaille Agglomération, is shown on the map and can be downloaded as a GPX file to follow on your phone.
