About
Sainte-Marguerite beach shows a quieter side of Pornichet. Lined with villas and a residential district, it keeps a more intimate feel than Les Libraires beach while offering a high level of service. Swimming is lifeguarded in July and August. A bar-snack, a restaurant, a sailing school, a beach club, toilets and a first-aid post make it easy to spend the whole day here. Wheelchair access is possible with help, and a facility lets you reach the water. Animals are not allowed in summer; they are allowed on a lead from 15 September to 15 June. Pornichet also bans smoking on all its beaches. The beach fits perfectly into a family day or a coastal walk to Bonne Source and the port of Sainte-Marguerite.
