About

Villès-Martin beach was one of Saint-Nazaire’s six lifeguarded beaches in 2026. Lifeguards were on duty from 27 June to 30 August, every day from 11 am to 7 pm, adjusted to the tides. The first-aid post is on Boulevard Albert 1er and access is provided for people with reduced mobility. The setting is very urban but pleasant, with a view towards the estuary, the seafront promenade and the Villès-Martin lighthouse close by. Its appeal lies in this mix of swimming, town services and sea views. The tide changes the beach a lot, along with the space available, so check the tide times before you come.
