About
The Grande Plage de Quiberon stretches for about 900 m between Port Maria and the Casino. Facing due south, it is a complete contrast to the Côte Sauvage. Here, the setting is urban, lively and very well equipped. The tourist office confirms access for disabled visitors, showers, toilets, drinking water, a kids’ club, beach tent hire, bike parking and a first aid post in summer. A beach wheelchair can be rented by the half-day from the first aid post. The 2026 health monitoring gives a season from 15 June to 15 September and lists the site as lifeguarded, equipped and wheelchair accessible, with toilets, a water point and a first aid post, and an excellent water quality record. Dogs are not allowed on the bay-side beaches between 30 March and 1 November, except on dedicated dog beaches elsewhere in the town.
