Morbihan has the gentlest beaches in Brittany: Quiberon Bay shelters them from the big swells, and the water is often a little warmer than elsewhere. The islands add their coves.

The most original
In Pénestin, the Mine d’Or beach stretches at the foot of gold coloured cliffs. In Sarzeau, Suscinio beach faces the castle of the Dukes of Brittany. On Groix, the Grands Sables beach juts out into the sea, a rare shape in Europe.
Belle-Île
The Grands Sables in Locmaria is the largest beach on the island and the safest. Port-Donnant, superb between two cliffs, is dangerous for swimming.
