About
Hent an Lanniou means “the heathland path” in Breton, after the natural areas typical of the Plourac’h area, on the border between Côtes-d’Armor and Finistère. The trail crosses other habitats precious for biodiversity: a valley, a peat bog, ponds. On the way back, the peaceful village of Plourac’h is home to the church nicknamed the “cathedral of the Argoat”, built in the 14th century. The loop is 14.5 km long, with 251 m of ascent; allow about 3 h 45 of walking. The stated level is medium. Start: the town hall in Plourac’h. The official route, published by the Côtes-d’Armor département and updated on 11 September 2026, is shown on the map and can be downloaded as a GPX file to follow on your phone. Any problem on the route can be reported via the Suricate app.
