About
This walk in Rosporden follows the ponds, takes the greenway and then country paths and quiet lanes. The three Rosporden ponds, full of fish, are very popular with anglers. Greenway no. 7, laid out on an old railway line, crosses the Finistère for 105 km, from Concarneau to Roscoff. Built on a rocky outcrop, the Locjean chapel dates from the 16th century; altered in the 18th and 19th centuries, it keeps holy water stoups and statuettes listed as historic monuments. The loop is 12.6 km long; allow about 3 h 15 of walking. Start: the 8-Mai-1945 car park, in Rosporden. The official route, published by Concarneau Cornouaille Agglomération, is shown on the map and can be downloaded as a GPX file to follow on your phone.
