About
The countryside of western Erdeven reveals a rich built and religious heritage, from village to village. The trail runs past the Sept-Saints dolmens under their mound and their chapel, restored in 1899. It goes around the village of Saint-Germain, recorded as early as the 11th century, then reaches the Touleupry pond, the Lisveur chapel and the Narbon mill, a windmill from 1805 restored after the 1987 storm. After the Kergrosse spring and the Loperhet chapel, the Ocean path leads back to the village centre past the Men Glas menhir. The loop is 18.4 km long; allow about 4 h 30 of walking. The stated level is medium. Start: the sports complex, rue du Stade, in Erdeven. The waymarking is yellow. The official route, published by Auray Quiberon Terre Atlantique, is shown on the map and can be downloaded as a GPX file to follow on your phone.
