About
This trail explores the many megalithic sites of Erdeven: stone rows, dolmens and enclosures. After the Botlann dolmen, you reach the Mané Braz dolmens, “the big hill”, four passage graves restored by Zacharie Le Rouzic in 1923, then the Coët er Blei stone rows, known as the Chaise de César, and the Mané Croh dolmen. At Crucuno, the dolmen has a capstone of more than 30 tonnes and the quadrilateral lines up 22 menhirs. The way back passes the Kerzerho stone rows, 195 stones over 200 m. The loop is 11 km long; allow about 2 h 45 of walking. The stated level is easy. Start: the sports complex, rue du Stade, in Erdeven. The waymarking is yellow. The official route, published by Auray Quiberon Terre Atlantique, is shown on the map and can be downloaded as a GPX file to follow on your phone.
