About
On Place du Canada, in the heart of Rothéneuf, the Saint-Malo district known for its sculpted rocks, Le Rocher displays its motto: “Fine food. Fine bottles. Good atmosphere.” Chef Romain Roullier fell for the place and renovated it: walls of stone, brick and white, and a terrace in fine weather. The menu follows the seasons and short supply chains. The MICHELIN Guide, which includes the house in its selection, praises a single menu of the day, with no choice and very good value. The cellar lives up to the promise of “fine bottles”. Le Rocher is also a neighbourhood spot: it opens from 9.30 am, serves until late afternoon early in the week and into the evening from Wednesday to Saturday. A simple, well-judged stop after a walk on the Rothéneuf coast.
