About
Vedettes de l’Odet offer two main trips from Bénodet. Head for the Glénan archipelago: a free stop on the island of Saint-Nicolas, with its white sand and clear water, then a one-hour guided cruise between Penfret, Bananec, Le Loch, Drénec and Fort-Cigogne. Or sail up the Odet on a guided cruise towards Quimper. Émile Zola, passing through Cornouaille, is said to have called it the “prettiest river in France”. Depending on the tide, the boat goes as far as the port of Le Corniguel in Quimper, or turns back in the Kérogan cove. Other options include underwater viewing, kayak hire on the Glénan, or a short one-hour cruise in the estuary, ideal with young children. Dogs are allowed on board on a lead. The 2026 season is over: the next departure is on Saturday 3 April 2027.
