About
The Gouarec campsite is in the Côtes-d’Armor, beside the towpath, where the Nantes to Brest canal, the V6 greenway and the Vélodyssée, the long cycle route from Roscoff to Hendaye, meet. The pretty village of Gouarec and its shops are a stone’s throw away. It has 100 pitches over nearly 3 hectares. There is no need to book a pitch: the site is large and there is always room, at 8 € per adult per night. Light travellers sleep in a vintage caravan or a bell tent, at 35 to 50 € a night. With the Accueil Vélo label, the campsite caters for walkers and cyclists. It also hires out bikes and canoes. Pets are allowed on unserviced pitches; for rentals, it is best to call first. The Guerlédan lake, its beaches and water sports are 7 kilometres away, and the Bon-Repos abbey 5 kilometres away. The Daoulas gorges and several GR trails complete the programme.
