About

Camping de Croas an Ter stands at Quelvez in Clohars-Carnoët, near Le Pouldu, on the border of south Finistère and Morbihan. Sylvain Cutulic’s grandparents created it in 1962, in the tradition of farm campsites. It is a natural park of 3 hectares, with large unserviced pitches and a few mobile homes. It holds the Clef Verte and the EU Ecolabel, and is an LPO bird refuge: sorting waste, composting and careful water use are part of the stay. The choice is deliberate: no pool or entertainment, silence from 10 pm, one vehicle per pitch, and no cars on site between 10 pm and 7 am. Wi-Fi is only available around reception, to encourage disconnection. The Le Pouldu beaches and the GR 34 are close by, and the island of Groix makes a day trip. The campsite has been in the Guide du Routard since 2008 and the Michelin guide since 2009. By the sea, Les Grands Sables beach, in Clohars-Carnoët, is about 6 minutes by car (2.8 km), and Bellangenêt beach about 6 minutes by car (3 km). Nearby, you can visit Pont-Scorff, about 23 minutes by car (19 km), and Pont-Aven, about 25 minutes by car (21 km).
