About
Camping Goulit Ar Guer overlooks Porz Ar Vag beach in Plomodiern, at the head of the Bay of Douarnenez. The 2.5-hectare family site has direct access to the beach, lifeguarded in summer, 200 metres along a small path, and a fine view of the sunsets. It has 100 pitches, including 32 rentals: 27 mobile homes with 2 to 3 bedrooms, for up to 6 people, and 3 chalets. The 68 shaded or partly shaded pitches are terraced for more privacy. A games area, table tennis, basketball and a crêpe evening liven up the stay, with three washroom blocks and a laundry. Porz Ar Vag is one of the best surf spots in the bay: the Plomodiern sailing club gives lessons there. The GR 34 starts from the campsite for more than 16 kilometres of wild coast. The Ménez-Hom, 330 metres high, draws hikers and paragliders, and Locronan, a Petite Cité de Caractère, is ten minutes away.
