About
The Le Sillon municipal campsite is in L’Île-Tudy, at the mouth of the Pont-l’Abbé river, facing Loctudy and 20 kilometres from Quimper. It borders a huge 4 kilometre beach of fine sand. It has 85 unserviced pitches, with direct access to the beach and no road to cross: an ideal choice for families. Electric hook-ups and water points are spread around the pitches. The toilet blocks are accessible to people with reduced mobility, with indoor and outdoor washing-up areas and a laundry with two washing machines and a dryer. Out of season, a motorhome area remains accessible via a service terminal. The centre of L’Île-Tudy, a former fishing village, and its ferry to Loctudy are close by. The beach runs towards Sainte-Marine and Combrit. Nearby, you can visit the Musée Bigouden in Pont-l’Abbé, about 13 minutes by car (9.7 km), and the Eckmühl lighthouse in Penmarc’h, about 29 minutes by car (24 km).
