About
The Camping du Pouldu is on Rue des Grands-Sables in Clohars-Carnoët, about 600 metres from the beach along a small shady path. 800 metres away, a ferryman crosses the Laïta to Guidel-Plages. A landscaped outdoor pool and a paddling pool, both heated, fill the afternoons. Children have a covered games room for 1 to 5-year-olds, games for older children and a mini-farm: an alpaca, dwarf goats and Ouessant sheep. You can rent mobile homes, lodges and wooden lodgings under the trees. La Grange houses the bar and games area, with occasional acoustic concerts, and the cider is made from the apples of the campsite’s orchard. The Guide du Routard has recommended it since 2018. There are no noisy parties here: the snack bar serves homemade burgers in season, and the games area for older children has table football, pool, pinball and table tennis. The campsite hires out classic and electric bikes. On the GR34 and La Littorale (V5) cycle route, the campsite is a handy stop for walkers and cyclists. Quimperlé station is a quarter of an hour away; out of season, a shuttle can pick you up on request. By the sea, Grands Sables beach in Clohars-Carnoët is about 3 minutes by car (1.3 km), and Bellangenêt beach about 4 minutes by car (1.5 km). Nearby, you can visit Pont-Scorff, about 25 minutes by car (20 km), and Pont-Aven, about 26 minutes by car (21 km).
