About

Les Mouettes covers eighteen hectares on the bay of Morlaix, 1.5 km from the centre of Carantec. Opened on 1 July 1972, it is now a 5-star Yelloh! Village and a member of Leading Campings. In front of the estate, the foreshore is good for shore fishing; Carantec’s sandy beaches are about 2.5 km away. Le Lagon, a heated outdoor pool, comes with a tropical river and three slides totalling 320 metres of descent. The Balnéoh! area, covered and heated to 29 °C, welcomes swimmers in any weather, and the 2,000 m² Aquagarden is reserved for children’s water games. The campsite has 63 pitches and 394 rentals: cottages, chalets, glamping tents, and some cottages with a private spa. Clubs are free for ages 3 to 12, five days a week. The Ty Coz restaurant was voted Yelloh! restaurant of the year in 2023, 2024 and 2025, and the Bar de la Plage looks over the bay. The campsite lies between Morlaix, 12 km away, and Roscoff, 15 km away. Its cottages and chalets are grouped in areas within landscaped gardens. At low tide, you can walk to Île Callot, and a boat takes you to the Château du Taureau. The campsite is rated Superplatz by ADAC and Top Camping, and offers yoga, fitness and balneotherapy. Nearby: the Château de Kérouzéré in Sibiril, about 22 minutes by car (17 km).
