About
Les Jardins des Coccinelles is in Saint-Ouen-la-Rouërie, part of the commune of Val-Couesnon, in Ille-et-Vilaine. Sabrina and Julien created this organic market garden micro farm in 2021, farmed with living soil and agroforestry. Their idea: to promote healthy, local food and to welcome families on holiday to share their vision of food and their way of life. They offer farm camping, ecolodges, a rural gîte and a host table. Motorhomes are welcome free of charge, with access to dry toilets. The shop sells vegetables, charcuterie, dairy products, juices, preserves and honey, and a farm visit costs 1 € per person. Children enjoy the play garden and the mini farm, with billy goats and hens. The farm market runs Monday to Friday from 5 pm to 7 pm and on Saturdays from 10 am to 12.30 pm. Summer evenings and educational workshops punctuate the year. Nearby, you can visit the Rocher-Portail in Maen Roch, about 13 minutes by car (8.9 km), and the Château de La Ballue in Bazouges-la-Pérouse, about 21 minutes by car (15 km).
