About
The Loisirs en Gare nature campsite is in Guiscriff, in the Morbihan, in Central Brittany, at the former Réseau Breton station. The last train passed through in 1967. It has 5 grassy pitches, separated by hedges, in a natural setting. The walkers’ stop area has two shower rooms with shower and WC and a room for bringing your own food. Four electric hook-ups and a tarmac area are reserved for motorhomes, vans and caravans. Everything is designed for walkers, riders and cyclists. With the Accueil Vélo label, the site has a free repair station and a secure area for horses. The old railway lines can be followed by bike. On site, the museum tells the story of the “iron star”, the escape game “Le Secret du Cheval Noir” sets you investigating, and the Café de la Gare serves treats and drinks. The village centre and its shops are less than a kilometre away, Scaër 7 kilometres and Gourin 8. Nearby, you can visit the Musée du Faouët in Le Faouët, about 19 minutes by car (15 km), and the Château de Trévarez in Saint-Goazec, about 26 minutes by car (20 km).
