About

The Pont Augan campsite is in Baud, in the Morbihan, beside the Blavet canal, where the communes of Baud, Languidic and Quistinic meet. It is a small green haven where time flows to the rhythm of the canal. Rated 2 stars, it offers 32 pitches and 4 gîtes, and hires out equipment for enjoying the river and the paths. It holds the Accueil Vélo label. The Blavet towpath, flat and laid out as a greenway, starts right from the campsite. The Pont Augan and Minazen lock loop, about 5.4 kilometres, passes a few dozen metres away, and the GR 341 is less than 3 kilometres away. Opposite, across the bridge, the Saint-Adrien site is the start of a walk of about 14.5 kilometres to Sainte-Barbe. The thatched village of Poul-Fetan, in Quistinic, is the highlight of a 13 kilometre loop. Lorient, Vannes and Hennebont are within easy driving distance.
