About
This short walk in Landévant links the Saint-Martin church, the Château de Lannouan, its woods and the small heritage features of the village. The church, rebuilt in 1834, keeps a few sculptures from a 15th century building. A long shady avenue runs along the garden wall of the Château de Lannouan, built in the 18th century by the de Perrien family (private, not open to visitors), visible through its gates. The path passes through the old village of Talvern, crosses its stream and returns via rue de la Grange, where you can spot a carved lintel, a well with five stone balls and an Iron Age stele. The loop is 3.8 km long; allow about 1 hour of walking. The stated level is easy. Start: the Saint-Martin church, in Landévant. The waymarking is yellow. The official route, published by Auray Quiberon Terre Atlantique, is shown on the map and can be downloaded as a GPX file to follow on your phone.
