About
Slow Village Belle-Île, also called the Camping de l’Océan, is in Rosboscer, Le Palais, on Belle-Île-en-Mer, about ten minutes’ walk from the town centre and the harbour. The setting is calm and green, and the campsite is an LPO bird refuge. The pool is heated, surrounded by a trampoline, a playground, volleyball and pétanque. It mainly rents out mobile homes. A bar-restaurant, breakfast and a bread service are on site, and a free luggage shuttle meets some ferries on arrival. Hikers and trail runners can explore without a car: walking packages, luggage transfer and the Rosboscer bus stop (lines 2 and 3). In July and August, weekly mini-concerts liven up the restaurant terraces. By the sea, Ramonette beach in Le Palais is about 4 minutes by car (1.7 km), and Herlin beach about 13 minutes by car (7.8 km). Nearby, you can visit Le Palais, about 5 minutes by car (2 km), and Sauzon, about 10 minutes by car (6.9 km).
