About
The trapper cabins at the Camping d’Aleth are designed for travellers who want to keep the unusual feel of the campsite while gaining much more independence. The site has six cabins in the spirit of North American trappers, with names such as Commancheros, Cheyenne or Mohican. The current family model sleeps four in two bedrooms, with a 140 x 190 cm double bed and two 90 x 190 cm bunk beds. It has a kitchenette with a fridge, electric hobs, a microwave, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster. Unlike a standard mobile home, the cabin stays deliberately rustic: there is no WC or bathroom in the cabin, and guests use the campsite’s toilet blocks. The cabins have terraces, some of 25 to 40 m² with a dining and lounge area. One dog may be allowed under conditions and for a fee. In high season, arrival days are fixed, while in low season a two night minimum may apply. For a family wanting Brocéliande, nature and the freedom to cook without paying for a premium cottage, it is a very balanced choice.
