About
The Hôtel Brittany & Spa is on Boulevard Sainte-Barbe in Roscoff, facing the bay and the Île de Batz. A Relais & Châteaux member rated 4 stars, it combines a historic 14th century manor with more contemporary extensions facing the sea. The hotel has 29 rooms and suites: 12 in the Manor, 11 in the modern Les Terrasses wing and 6 in the Patio. This creates three very different atmospheres, from old heritage to contemporary architecture, via more intimate garden-level rooms. The Manor is the historic heart. Classic Manor rooms are about 21 to 30 m², with a king-size bed or twin beds, free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, a safe, a complimentary minibar and a bathroom with shower or bath. Signature Sea View Manor rooms are about 25 to 45 m² and add a Nespresso machine and, for some, a view towards the Île de Batz. The Manor family suites range from about 40 to 80 m² and sleep up to four. They have a lounge, an extra bedroom, a bathroom with bath and shower, two TVs, a complimentary minibar and a terrace depending on the layout. Les Terrasses is the most contemporary side of the Brittany. Deluxe Sea View Terrasses are about 45 m² with a large picture window, private terrace, king-size or twin beds, bath and shower, and an outdoor lounge. Signature Sea View Terrasses range from about 40 to 60 m², with a balcony and a 180-degree view. The Sea View Family Suite is 80 m² for four people, with two bedrooms, two dressing rooms and a terrace facing the bay. The Patio has six rooms. The Classic Patio Terrace room is about 25 m², at garden level, with a private planted outdoor space: a more sheltered, quieter alternative to rooms directly exposed to the sea. All rooms are reached by lift. Important: the hotel states explicitly that it is not air-conditioned. The Thalion marine spa covers more than 200 m². It includes a heated indoor pool with hydromassage jets, two large treatment rooms, balneotherapy, a hammam, a relaxation room, a herbal tea corner, changing rooms and showers. Treatments use Thalion marine products, and some offers include private use of the hammam. Gastronomy is central. Nori, chef Loïc Le Bail’s gastronomic restaurant, holds one Michelin star, with cooking that builds a dialogue between Brittany and Japanese influences. The hotel also has a bar-bistro, the Sunset Bar, for more relaxed food. Breakfast is also by the chef. Served from 7.30 to 10 am in the restaurant, it combines continental classics, Breton crêpes, smoked fish and Japanese touches such as dashi broth. The 2026 price starts at €30. Room service currently runs from 4 pm to 11 pm, except Mondays, from the bistro menu. In winter, the Sunset Bar opens Tuesday to Sunday from 4 pm to 9 pm; these times vary with the season. The private car park is free, closed at night but not guarded. Dogs and cats are allowed in rooms and common areas for a supplement currently announced at €35 per day; they are not allowed in the gastronomic restaurant but are welcome in the brasserie. Families are well catered for, with family suites, connecting rooms, a baby cot, a children’s menu and a high chair. An extra bed is currently €45, while the baby cot is free on request and subject to availability. Check-in is from 3 pm and check-out before 11 am. The hotel accepts ANCV holiday vouchers for payments on site for direct bookings, but not for bookings made through third-party sites. For an upmarket stay in Roscoff, the Brittany & Spa combines four things that are hard to find together: real architectural history, a strong sea view, an integrated spa and a starred restaurant. It is particularly suited to a gastronomic weekend, a couple’s getaway or a premium family stay.
