About
The Roscoff market is held all year round on Wednesday mornings, in the town centre. When Wednesday is a public holiday, it moves forward to Tuesday. Roscoff is a former town of privateers and shipowners, with granite houses, and the port from which the boats leave for the island of Batz. The town gave its name to the pink Roscoff onion, grown in the market gardens of the Léon. After the market, you can visit the Château de Kérouzéré in Sibiril, about 16 minutes by car (12 km). By the sea, Perharidy beach, in Roscoff, is about 9 minutes by car (4.9 km), and Théven beach about 13 minutes by car (9.2 km).
