About
On Wednesdays, the Steïr market sets up along the river and around the Saint-François covered market, right in the centre of Quimper. It is the midweek edition of the big Saturday market. Smaller than the Saturday one, it brings together a few traders offering food and manufactured goods, in streets closed to traffic. The food stalls are there in the morning, until 1.30 pm. The Saint-François covered market, open from 5.30 am to 8 pm, completes the shopping. After the market, you can visit the Musée Bigouden in Pont-l’Abbé, about 21 minutes by car (20 km), and Locronan, about 22 minutes by car (18 km).
