About

The big Saint-Pol-de-Léon market is held all year round on Tuesday mornings, on Place de l’Évêché and Place de Guébriant, in the heart of the town. Saint-Pol-de-Léon is the capital of the Léon and of the “golden belt”, the market-garden land that produces artichokes, cauliflowers and pink Roscoff onions. The market is held in the shadow of the cathedral and the Kreisker chapel, whose 79-metre bell tower is one of the tallest in Brittany. After the market, you can visit the Château de Kérouzéré in Sibiril, about 11 minutes by car (8.3 km). By the sea, Théven beach, in Santec, is about 8 minutes by car (5.5 km), and Dossen beach about 10 minutes by car (5.9 km).
