Every Saturday, from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm, the castle market sets up on Place des Ducs-de-Rohan, opposite the castle in Pontivy. It is a local producers’ market, selling directly the produce of their farms in central Brittany. The Château des Rohan dominates the old town. Pontivy, the leading market town of central Brittany, also holds its big historic market on Monday mornings, on La Plaine.
