About
The Halle des Lices is the covered market of Vannes, on the square of the same name, in the historic centre. It is open all year round from Tuesday to Sunday, from 8 am to 2 pm, and every day in July and August. Around thirty regular traders are based there: cheesemongers, greengrocers, butchers, charcutiers, fishmongers, bakers and pastry cooks, chocolatiers and wine merchants. A tasting area lets you have lunch among the stalls. At weekends, it becomes a meeting point for regulars and passers-by alike. After the market, you can visit Vannes Intra-Muros, about 600 m away, and the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Vannes, La Cohue, about 1 km away.
