Vannes is easy to visit in the rain: its old town is small, its monuments are close together, and the market halls warm up grey mornings.
La Cohue and the cathedral
The Musée des Beaux-Arts occupies La Cohue, the former medieval market hall opposite the Cathédrale Saint-Pierre. Both can be visited one after the other, under cover.
