About
La Banche is the big central beach of Binic-Étables-sur-Mer. It lies right next to the port and the centre, with a wide, lively seafront. The town presents it as Binic’s largest beach and highlights its seawater pool and its beach club, very popular with families. On the esplanade, a playground and pétanque courts complete the offer. In 2026, the official water monitoring confirmed a lifeguarded, equipped site, closed to animals, with showers, drinking water, toilets, a first-aid post and wheelchair access. Water quality is monitored from 15 June to 15 September, and recent results are excellent. The seawater pool is covered by the lifeguards when the post is open, but it may close occasionally for draining and maintenance. La Banche’s appeal lies in its versatility: sea swimming, a more reassuring pool for families, leisure on the esplanade and direct access to the heart of Binic.
