About
Le Moulin beach is presented by Binic-Étables-sur-Mer as the town’s most family-friendly beach. It combines a big car park, shady spots, rocks, a gentle slope suitable for pushchairs and two restaurants right on the beach. Its landmark is the diving platform nicknamed “la Bougie” (the candle), revealed at low tide. In 2026, Le Moulin was lifeguarded every day from 3 July to 30 August, six hours a day on slots shifted each week according to the tide, either 11.30 am to 5.30 pm or 1 pm to 7 pm. During the lifeguard season, a Tiralo and an access mat make it easier to reach the sand and the water. The beach has toilets and picnic tables, and beach huts can be rented. Unlike Les Godelins or L’Avant-Port, dogs are banned on Le Moulin beach. All this makes it a particularly practical beach for a first family outing.
