About
Le Pont beach lies at the entrance to Rothéneuf, continuing on from Le Minihic. It looks wide out over the Bay of Saint-Malo with, when visibility allows, the corsair city and Cap Fréhel in the background. At the end of the beach, the coastal path quickly reaches the Pointe de la Varde. Le Pont is one of the best-equipped beaches in the area: first-aid post, shower, drinking water, toilets and a kids’ club. In July and August, Saint-Malo’s first-aid posts run from 12.30 pm to 7 pm. Two adult Hippocampe beach wheelchairs are available free of charge in summer at the Le Pont post. The beach is therefore far better suited to people with reduced mobility than Le Minihic or Le Nicet. Animals are banned from 1 April to 30 September.
