About

Valentin is the largest beach in Batz-sur-Mer and on the Côte Sauvage, with about 740 metres of fine sand. Close to Le Croisic, it combines swimming, sailing, board sports and lazing on the sand. In season, the beach has a lifeguard post: in 2026, it was staffed from 5 July to 31 August, from about 1.30 pm to 7 pm. Two toilet blocks, places to eat and car and bike parking complete the facilities. An access mat is laid from 15 June to 15 September, weather permitting, and amphibious chairs can be requested at the first-aid post during lifeguard hours. The sailing school and a board sports school are nearby. The beach is smoke-free within its regulated area, and beach fires are banned.
