About
Légenèse is one of Carnac’s five beaches. West of the Grande Plage and the Yacht Club, it has a more intimate scale and a very family-friendly feel. The tourist office describes it as a fine-sand beach with clear water, particularly suited to families and children aged 0 to 12. In summer, the Marsouins beach club livens up the area. The beach has parking, drinking water and toilets. Unlike the Grande Plage, current tourist information does not mention a permanent first-aid post at Légenèse. Like all Carnac beaches, Légenèse is included in the bathing water quality monitoring. Dogs are not allowed on Carnac beaches. Légenèse is particularly good for families who want to stay close to the services of Carnac-Plage without the busier atmosphere of the Grande Plage.
