About
In the heart of Carnac-Plage, executive chef Florent Gérardin runs Le Cairn in the Hôtel Le Celtique. The house combines a bistro menu influenced by his travels in Asia, special seafood evenings and a Sunday brunch, in a stylish Art Deco setting. Le Cairn is inside Le Celtique, a Carnac-Plage hotel restyled in contemporary Art Deco. The materials, the lines of the furniture and the nearby seafront create a setting both elegant and relaxed. This is not a restaurant cut off from hotel life, but one that embraces its seaside atmosphere. In fine weather, the terrace can extend the meal. Florent Gérardin trained in great French houses, then worked in Austria, Singapore and Australia, and his cooking shows the influence of those journeys alongside Breton produce and seafood.
