About
Port-Navalo lies at the tip of the Rhuys peninsula, right at the entrance to the Gulf of Morbihan. The site offers a panorama very different from the classic ocean headlands: here, the show comes as much from the currents, the boats and the passages between the islands as from the horizon. The harbour is also a starting point for cruises in the Gulf, to the Île aux Moines, the Île d’Arz and sometimes the offshore islands. The GR34 runs through the area.

- Check the local weather on the day; in fog or very poor visibility, postpone if the view is your main aim.

- Bring a windproof and waterproof layer: the wind makes it feel much colder.
- Wear shoes with good grip; after heavy rain, paths can be muddy or slippery.
- Never cross a fence or safety marking for a better photo, and stay back from the cliff edge in strong wind.
