About
At the tip of Port-Navalo, Le Grand Largue seems placed to watch boats entering and leaving the Gulf of Morbihan. The pink house overlooking the old harbour is home to a family restaurant whose history is tied to the Rhuys peninsula. The former captain’s house was turned into a restaurant by the Adam family in the 1980s. The view is spectacular, but Baptiste Moisson’s cooking has enough personality not to be reduced to the panorama. With Virginie Adam Moisson and Cyril Gaudron, Baptiste showcases seafood: blue lobster from the tank, local fish, shellfish and abalone, depending on the catch. The chef also brings a freedom of flavours from his travels, notably to Asia and Polynesia, with spices and seasonings enriching a gastronomy rooted in Brittany. Le Grand Largue suits special occasions linked with the sea: a lunch overlooking the harbour or a tasting menu at sunset. When booking, choose between the gastronomic restaurant and the house bistro.
