About
Wooded and rural, this route explores the steep shores of the Rophémel lake. From the small village of Guitté, it heads down to the lake and follows its banks on woodland paths. After the bridge over the Néal pond, small country roads take over. On the way you glimpse the Château de Beaumont (private) and the Suais site by the water. After the panorama from the heights, the Noé Moy leisure area invites you to stop, with a wash house and miniature mills recalling the mills of the Rance. On the way back, the Pierre Longue menhir and the nearby Lampouy stone rows are worth a stop. The loop is 10.5 km long, with 240 m of ascent; allow about 3 hours of walking. The stated level is medium. Start: the church in Guitté. The official route, published by the Côtes-d’Armor département and updated on 11 September 2026, is shown on the map and can be downloaded as a GPX file to follow on your phone.
